This finely detailed antique map engraved by J & C Walker was published in 1844 by the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge, a British philanthropical group. Cities, towns, regions, rivers and mountain ranges are illustrated. It shows the northern part of 'Ancient Britain'. The explanation of the map is below the title in the upper right corner and in the upper and lower left corners. Original outline colouring.
