An antique county map of the county of Surry engraved by Wenceslaus Hollar from the atlas "England Exactly Described or a Guide to Travellers" by Thomas Taylor. A major addition to the earlier plates is that roads and distances between towns are now included, after the road surveys of John Ogilby. This plate carries the name of Richard Blome in the Title cartouche, also signed by Hollar (bottom left) and the name of Thomas Bakewell appears in the panel of hundreds. Published in 1735 Fine condition.
