An antique steel-engraved map from the rare German Atlas: Meyer's Zeitungs-Atlas, considered to be the finest German Atlas of the mid 19th century. It shows the area of the Austrian Empire in Northern Italy extending from the Lago Maggiore to the gulf of Triest. Four small inset cityplans show Verona, Milano, Venice and Mantua and its individual buildings. Very detailed map with lots of place-names, streets and railways, rivers, mountains and lakes.
The original colors depict the historical borders from the period.
