An antique map of Monmouthshire engraved by J Cary, from "New British Atlas, being a complete Set of County Maps, on which are delineated all the Roads, Cities, Towns, Villages, Rivers & Canals.........." 'Published by John Stockdale, Piccadilly, 26th March, 1805, with later outline colouring. Maps from this atlas were originally published in Camden's Britannia, translated by Richard Gough, 1789, and re-issued in the second edition in 1806. Two horizontal folds.
