...... viz Epirus Hellas or Graecia Propria and Peloponnesus together with the Adjoining Islands - This antique map, engraved by Sutton Nicholls, is from an edition of "A New Sett of Maps Both of Antient and Present Geography" published by Edward Wells M.A. Oxon, in 1743 with later hand colouring. Title cartouche is included in the bottom right of the map featuring the coat of arms of the Duke of Gloucester. Important cites from antiquity including the Athens, Thebes, Delphi, Corinth, etc. Uncoloured as published.
