An antique plan engraved by Thomas Kitchin. This attack was part of the 2nd Carnatic war (1749 - 1754) Shows the positions of the Mysore and Morattoe Camps towards the bottom of the plan and the location of the battles at Golden Rock and Sugar Loaf Rock. An 'Explanation' in the top right corner identifies English Battalion, English Sepoys, Tanjorine Cavalry, French Battalion, French Sepoys and Mysore & Moarattoe Cavalry retreating out of their Camps. Circa 1760.
