Antique map of the Arabian Peninsula engraved by J. & C. Walker, published under the superintendance of the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge Sepotember 15th, 1843. Shows the area from Egypt and Nile in the West to the Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman in the East and the Somali Coast in the south. A large area of the peninsula is left blank, with a note explaining, "Nothing known of this coast or of the interior."
