An antique plan of "Battle of Barrosa 5th March, 1811 by Alexander Keith Johnston. F.R.G.S. published by William Blackwood and Sons in 1848 with later colouring. The battle was part of an unsuccessful manoeuvre by an Anglo-Iberian force to break the French siege of Cádiz during the Peninsular War.The plan shows the positions of the Allies and the French Cavalry, Infantry and Artillery.
