An antique plan of "Battle of Ocana 19th November, 1809." by Alexander Keith Johnston. F.R.G.S. published by William Blackwood and Sons in 1848 with original colouring. The plan shows the positions of the Cavalry, Infantry and Artillery of the French and Spanish. In the Battle, French forces under Marshal Soult and King Joseph Bonaparte inflicted upon the Spanish army its greatest single defeat in the Peninsular War.
