An antique plan of "Battle of Wagram 5th & 6th July , 1809 Sheet 1 - 5th July" by Alexander Keith Johnston. F.R.G.S. published by William Blackwood and Sons in 1848 with original colouring. The plan shows the positions of the Cavalry, Infantry and Artillery of the French and Austrians. Despite the fact that Napoleon was the uncontested winner, he failed to secure a complete victory and the Austrian casualties were only slightly greater than those of the French and Allies.
