An antique plan of "Battle of Wavre 18th & 19th June, 1815" by Alexander Keith Johnston. F.R.G.S. published by William Blackwood and Sons in 1855 with original hand colouring. The plan shows the positions of the French Cavalry, Infantry and Artillery and that of the Prussians. A blocking action, this battle kept 33,000 French soldiers from reaching the battle at Waterloo. This battle helped the Allied forces defeat the French army there. Includes free mounting on request.
