An antique plan of the "Battle of the Trebbia 18, 19, & 20th June, 1799" by Alexander Keith Johnston. F.R.G.S. published by William Blackwood and Sons in 1848 with original colouring. The plan shows the Cavalry, Infantry and Artillery of the French and the Russian and Austrian Allies in their respective first and second positions.The Battle of Trebbia resulted in the victory of the Austrians and Russians under Field Marshal Suvorov against the French under General Macdonald.
