An antique map originally engraved for The Beauties of England and Wales by E.W. Brayley and J. Britton, but was used unchanged in Cole & Roper's 'The British Atlas comprising a Complete Set of County Maps of England and Wales....in 1810; the maps were then re-used in Joseph Nightingale's English Topography in 1816, and in the first edition of Dugdale's Curiosities of Great Britain, England & Wales Delineated 1835 (later editions used maps by John Archer). The maps were then used by Henry George Collins who produced the maps by lithographic transfer. Circa 1850.
