This antique map engraved by Sutton Nicholls, is from an edition of "A New Sett of Maps Both of Antient and Present Geography" published by Edward Wells M.A. Oxon, in 1743. The top section on this plate shows parts of France and Northern Italy from Lake Geneva to Volterra and a lower map is of Southern Italy and part of Sicilly. Both maps identify important cities and towns and uses ancient names throughout. Uncoloured as published.
