An antique map of Bedfordshire entitled "An Accurate Map of the County of Bedford Divided into its Hundreds." by Emmanuel Bowen. A fine detailed 18th centy map of the county embellished with an uncoloured title cartouche. A rococo cartouche beneath a coat of arms displays the dedication to the Duke of Bedford. Index Villaris in bottom right corner has a list of Places and their Chief Persons. Printed for John Bowles in Cornhil, Carington Bowles in St. Pauls Church Yard and Robt. Sayer in Fleet Street. Original outline hand colouring. A few repaired marginal tears. Circa 1763.
