An antique aquatint with engraving. Shows a street scene with wagons and a carriage on a very muddy road. Houses in Piccadilly are on the left, St. George's Hospital on the right and a turnpike gates can be seen in the middle distance. In the foreground is depicted Collier's Southampton Coach on eight wheels, pulled by four white horses. 'Dagaty Delin & Sculpt'. Publish'd August 1 1797 by R. Ackermann 104 Strand". Margins have been trimmed back to the image on all four sides as shown. A few marginal repaired tears.
