This is a large detailed map of France showing the 89 Departemens (each color coded), with a small inset maps of Paris and surroundings and Corsica. Details of roads and canals are shown. This map was engraved by T. Gobert and was published in "La France et ses Colonies" by M. Vuillemin and published in Paris by J. Migeon in 1878 with original color and folds as issued. Part of left margin removed by bookbinder causing a two inch tear in top left.
