An antique road map engraved by Garnet Terry, 54 Paternoster Row, Cheapside London, published in "Taylor and Skinner's Maps of the Roads of Ireland Surveyed 1777" (1st Edition) Published 14th November, 1778. This map shows the Commencement of the road from Dublin to Sligo by Longford via Palmerstown, Leixlip, Maynooth and Killcock continuing on the verso to Blackwater Bridge, Kinnegad and as far as Mullingar.
