An antique road map engraved by Garnet Terry, 54 Paternoster Row, Cheapside London, published in "Taylor and Skinner's Maps of the Roads of Ireland Surveyed 1777" (1st Edition) Published 14th November, 1778. This map shows the completion of the road from Dublin to Loughrea by Shannon Bridge, Ballinasloe and Aghrim. On the verso is the continuation of the road from Dublin to Loughrea from Kilbeggan to Clara Ballycumber, to Fearbane and Bellmont and on to Shannon Bridge.
