An antique road map engraved by Garnet Terry, 54 Paternoster Row, Cheapside London, published in "Taylor and Skinner's Maps of the Roads of Ireland Surveyed 1777" (1st Edition) Published 14th November, 1778. This map shows the road from Birr to Loughrea crossing the River Shannon to Portumna and on to Loughrea. On the verso is the road from 'Philipstown to Naas by Kildare and Thro' the Curragh'.
