The first shows him deserting his Army in Egyp and in the second he is overturning the French Republic which had employ 'd him, & intrusted him with the chief Command.' A caricature by James Gillray, London published by John Miller, Bridge Street and W.Blackwood, Edinburgh. Circa 1820 with original colouring. Repaired tear to the bottom of the image on the left.
