An antique coloured aquatint by Thomas Rowlandson and Augustus Pugin. Originally produced to accompany Rudolph Ackermann's great part-work "Microcosm of London" published 1808-10. B.' London Pub, 1 November, 1808 at R. Ackermann's Repository of Arts Strand.' This print shows a women's ward at the Middlesex Hospital in Charles Street (now Mortimer Street).
