An antique map of the Isle of Wight from the Mercator/Hondius atlas. Circa 1639 with early hand colouring. This map was originally on the same plate as Guernsey, Anglesey and Jersey. Left vertical margin and the bottom margin have been trimmed to the printed border. Two close vertical folds on left side of map have been strengthened on verso.
