A rare antique map entitled "A Map of the Roads from London thro Oxford, Worchester &c. to Aberistwith. The Road from Bristol to Exeter". This is scarce map, engraved by John Gibson, was published in the Gentleman's Magazine. in September, 1765, with later hand colouring, The map has two maps on one sheet, and features ten road strip maps. Commencing at London, it extends West through Uxbridge, Oxford, Evesham, Worcester, Lemster,Prestain, Riadergowy to Aberystwyth. Then Bristoltol to Glastenbury to Exeter.
