An antique aquatint engraving by W. Overand Geller after G. Frieman (landscape by John Ralston). Published September 1834 by Ackermann & Co. London : and Agnew & Zanetti, Repository of Arts, Manchester. John Ralston was born in Scotland (possibly in Renfrew) in 1789. At 17, he began his studies at the Manchester School of Art.
