One of a collection of maps of England and Wales by John Speed which were printed before the imprint and the engraver's name were added. In this case the cartouche with imprint is wanting. (See Chubb XXIII) English text and the woodcut initial of the 1611 edition on verso with later hand colouring. Centrefold strengthened on verso and a few repaired marginal tears.
