Finely coloured antique map of Surrey from Speed's atlas 'The Theatre of the Empire of Great Britaine'. Has a few very minor defects including a few marginal repairs and some small repairs to centrefold which has been strengthened on verso, otherwise good. One of the maps that Speed based on John Norden's work rather than Saxton's, with inset views of Richmond and Nonsuch Palaces, elaborate strapwork cartouche, compass rose and heraldic shields.
