This antique sea chart was prepared by Lewis Morris, who was employed as Searcher and Customs Officer to Beaumaris and Holyhead. He started his survey of the coast of Wales in 1737 and after encountering many delays by the Admiralty, he published his volume of 25 charts in his "Plans of Harbours, Bays and Roads in St. George's Channel..." in 1748. Narrow margins. Includes free mounting on request.
