Scarce map of London, based upon the Ralph Agas view of London in 1563. This map of Elizabethan London, gives an idea of how people in the late 18th century viewed the Elizabethan capital. Covent Garden is an area of fields, and the location of Tower Bridge is marked, although the actual bridge was not planned until 1879. London Bridge is shown with the buildings on it and a key includes the names of 10 important locations. Has several vertical folds as published with some wear on some folds. The map has been rebacked, has some age toning and some surface dirt. Circa 1780.
