An antique copper engraving inscribed 'To the Worspll. the generous and much honoured Gent. Michael Biddulph of Elmhurst Esq. This 2nd. Table Shewing the N. E. Front of Elmurst Hall as a pledg of my Gratitude for recevi'd favours is humbly dedicated by R. P. L. L. D., showing a Jacobean building with steps, a balustrade, and a low roof. It is Drawn and engraved by M. Burghers and published by Robert Plot in `The Natural History of Staffordshire,' in 1686 with later hand colouring.
