An original Plan of the River Salwarp and of the Navigable Canal from Droitwich to the River Severn in the County of Worcester. Following the Droitwich Barge Canal Act of 1768, the canal from Droitwich was linked to the River Severn designed by the eminent canal engineer James Brindley. Plan engraved by John Lodge and published in 'The Gentleman's Magazine: and Historical Chronicle' by Sylvanus Urban, London in 1771 with later hand colouring and decorative cartouche. Several vertical folds.
