An antique engraving by W. Byrne and T. Medland after T. Hearne. he print bears the inscription " To Sir John Banks Bart. President of the Ryal Society, this view of Peel Castle is inscribed by his most obedient servants, William Byrne and Thomas Hearne. It was published in 1783.
