Two views of Pembroke College drawn and engraved by David Loggan. The top view is 'View, partly conjectural' and the bottom view is 'from the North'. In 1669, Loggan was appointed 'public sculptor' to the University of Oxford and then he proceeded to draw and engrave all the Oxford colleges in bird's-eye views. Loggan's illustrated book on Oxford, "Oxonia Illustrata", was a product of several years of dedicated efforts. This engraving is from a later publication of his work. Circa 1900.
