An antique plan of the city Philadelphia by the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge. It shows the entire city in great detail, showing individual streets, important buildings, rivers, squares, piers and neighborhoods. A key in the lower left corner gives the locations marked on the map. There are two vignette views, one of the United States Bank and another of the Exchange. This map was published by Charles Knight & Co, 22, Ludgate Street. Circa 1844.
