This miniature antique map of Gloucestershire was produced as a playing card map by Robert Morden in 1676. This map together with the whole of Mordens pack of cards were republished in 1773 by H. Turpin in a book entitled " A Brief Description of England and Wales". Original outline colour and is trimmed to the plate edge and mounted, as issued. Very good impression. Clean condition. Top margin trimmed as shown. Includes free mounting on request.
