An antique miniature 'playing card map' by Robert Morden and Homan Turpin, laid on contemporary paper (as issued) which was published in a pocket atlas "A Brief description of England and Wales". Circa 1750 - 1785. No card suit present. The upper panel displays the cards small Arabic numeral and on the right, in large Roman numeral 'X' is shown. Main roads are shown by double lines while minor ones are shown with single lines. Includes free mounting on request.
