The engraving shows a female figure representing Great Britain draped in a map of the Country which depicts the various rivers and cities of the nation, whilst surrounded by her four lovers and conquerors: Brute, Caesar, Hengest and William of Normandy. Engraved by William Hole and published in 1612.
