An antique line engraving of Queen's College from the East drawn and engraved by David Loggan. In 1669, Loggan was appointed 'public sculptor' to the University of Oxford and then he proceeded to draw and engrave all the Oxford colleges in bird's-eye views. Loggan's illustrated book on Oxford, "Oxonia Illustrata", was a product of several years of dedicated efforts. This engraving is from a later publication of his work. Circa 1900.
