An antique map by Rigobert Bonne 'Primario Hydrographo Navali' the important French engineer and cartographer (1727-1795) who succeeded J.N.Bellin as Hydrographer at the Depot de la Marine (1773). This detailed map of the eastern portion of the Roman Empire including Cyprus was published in the "Atlas Encyclopedique" . Circa 1787. Engraved by Gaspar André. A nice wind rose is present on the lower left of the map.
