An antique line engraving inscribed "To the Worspl.Edward Vernon Esq. Deputy High Steward of the Honor of Tutbury and Deputy Lieutenant of the Forrest of Needwood......" Drawn and engraved by Michael Burghers for Robert Plot's 'Natural History of Staffordshire', published in 1686 with later hand colouring. Repaired split from top margin into printed area.
