An antique map of Worcestershire published in the 1637 English edition of William Camden’s 'Britannia' and uncoloured as published. Initially issued in 1607, 'Britannia' was the first publication that contained a complete set of individual county maps of England and Wales. The maps were based on the earlier work of Christopher Saxton and John Norden and were engraved by William Hole and William Kip. This map was engraved by William Hole. Blank verso. Good margins. Vertical printers crease near centrefold. Includes free mounting on request.
