An antique line engraving by H. Humphreys, Castle Square, Caernarvon. '....By the road side ten miles from Caernarvon and three miles from Beddgelert. It is called Pitt's Head because it bears a sportive resemblance to the head of that celebrated statesman.' Circa 1860 with later hand colouring.
