An original sepia drawing by Thomas Hosney Shepherd [1793-1864] who was a British topographical watercolour artist well known for his architectural paintings. He is known for producing a series of views of Londons newest buildings, streets, and squares for 'Metropolitan Improvements' (1827). Signed T.H. Shepherd beneath the trees in bottom left corner. Inscribed in pencil on verso "Swansea Town & Bay 1841."
