Antique woodcut engravings which were published in "The Illustrated London News" on Sept. 9, 1893 with later hand colouring. The top scene is titled 'Stopping the passage on Pontygwaith Bridge' and the lower 'The Rocking Stone near Pontypridd, a meeting place of the Welsh Miners'.
