The antique woodcut engravings which were published in "The Illustrated London News" on August 22nd, 1863. The top engraving is of 'Curing-stances, Wick Harbour, the middle is'Herring Boats off Dunbar' and the bottom is 'Curing Yard at St. Monance, Fife.
