An antique map was published in 'The Natural History of England' by the scientist and instrument-maker Benjamin Martin. This was part of the complete work 'General Magazine of Arts and Science' issued between 1756 and 1761."Ichnography" means ground-plan. Several vertical folds and margins trimmed back to printed borders.
