A pair of antique woodcut engravings which were published in "The Illustrated London News" on February 20th, 1875 with later hand colouring. The top engraving is entitled "Settling accounts and granting leave to pick coal on the "Tips" and the bottom one entitled "A Pawn Office at Merthyr Tydvil".
Both approx 23.5cms by 16.5cms.
