An antique map of England that includes the counties of Northumberland, Cumberland, Westmorland, Durham, and adjacent parts of Lancashire, Yorkshire, and Scotland. Published in Gerard Mercator’s Atlas "Historia Mundi or Mercators Atlas" and printed by T. Cotes. This particular impression appeared in the 1637 edition of "Historia Mundi" published by Michaell Sparke. Sparke supplemented the original titles with English titles in the left margin. A scarce English language edition. English text on verso with later hand colouring.
