This highly decorative antique map of Suffolk has been embellished with armorials and views of Euston Hall and Heveningham Hall. It was first published in 1836 and subsequent editions were published by George Virtue. who later used the plates for publication in Barclay's Universal English Dictionary from 1842 until 1852. The plates were continuously amended to reflect the changes to the country by the rapidly growing railway network. This map includes railways and has been coloured by hand.
