An antique map of The Ottoman Empire in Asia was engraved by William Dassauville and published by John Thomson in his 1817 edition of A New General Atlas of the World. Has original hand colouring. Shows the Black Sea, The Sea of Marmora, Mediterranean Sea, and the Caspian Sea. Also modern-day Turkey, Cyprus, Syria, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Armenia & Georgia. Some light browning in the vertical centrefold otherwise nice clean map.
